In today's Los Angeles Times, Elizabeth Rosner (Author of the recently published novel "Blue Nude"), mentions what for me continues to be the most awkward element of social nudity.
Perhaps I am not the only one who finds it harder to get naked than to be naked? How to master the strange impracticalities of buttons and bra hooks? How to keep smiling while persevering in those over-the-head and around-the-ankles moments?

Notes on Nude Beach Season
August 12, 2006
After all these years, I still feel strange getting dressed and undressed in front of people who I don't mind spending time with in the nude. I'm 100% comfortable not wearing a stitch of clothing, but given a choice I'd rather make the transition from Not So Well Dressed Man to Naked Man in a nice private phone booth.
